Gotland can feel a bit unusual, almost exotic, and yet it is so nearby. There are several daily flights from Bromma and Arlanda to Visby, and two to seven daily ferry departures between Oskarshamn/Nynäshamn and Visby. You’ll be close to most everything during your stay on Gotland. From Wisby Strand, the port terminal is within walking distance and the Visby airport is only a 10-minute ride. Central Visby has about 600 hotel rooms, and another 300 rooms are in the planning or completion phase now. A wide selection of other accommodation options is only a 20-minute drive away.
